Eau de cologne traditionally sits at around 2-5% fragrance oil — light, bright and short-lived, historically built around citrus and fresh herbal notes. Eau fraiche is even lighter still, often mostly water with a small amount of fragrance concentrate, designed purely as a brief, refreshing touch rather than a lasting statement.
